Physical Therapy State Boards

Course Format: online webinar, or distant learning- independent study

 

Educational Level: Intermediate

-prerequisite requirements of foundation knowledge of anatomy & neuroanatomy, hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder injuries and  their protocols. 

Certificate of Completion: 

-This distant learning- independent course is offered at 14 contact hours, or 1.4 CEUs. 

-You will be able to download a generic certificate of completion right away after a satisfactory completion of all the course requirements, including watching all the videos, taking an assessment with a passing score of at least 70% and a post-course survey.

-For IL & TX PT & PTA, a custom-made certificate of completion will be provided, which will meet the requirements of your states. For other PT states, a custom-made one can be provided upon request only.

-Please check with your PT state boards for the most updated information as they may change occasionally. There is a list of state PT board information below for references only..

***-Continuing education requirements are regulated by the state/provincial boards of the HC professions. Each state/provincial licensing board has its own policies and procedures related to continuing education of its licensees. State/provincial boards of the HC professions place the responsibility on licensees to follow rules and regulations related to the practice of their professions and maintenance of licensure in their states or provinces.  Licensees should verify acceptance of continuing education courses with their state/provincial boards by reviewing the relevant state/provincial practice act and/or administrative code.
